A note about the title of this blog. I used to always title my blogs “These are the words that tear you apart.” It’s actually a line from a Dead Poetic song, but I’ve always found the words to be applicable to life. Words can do so much to either build us up, or tear us down. That said, I’m terrible at posting on blogs. I’ve never been a great writer and writing is nothing close to what I would call a personal creative outlet. I’ve always leaned more toward the audio/visual side of things, be it music, video, graphic design, or photography. In keeping with my general title theme I decided to name this photoblog “These are the pictures that tear you apart.” For me, the visual arts are what tend to tear me apart, so often an image or video speaks to me much louder than words.
Then intention is to post a photo I’ve taken with every entry I make. The them I’m using is actually designed for that and looks rather barren if I don’t.
